Caribou

Here is a little 6-7 yo grade mare.  Well built, good bone and handy size at a stout 13.2 hands, she will make a great youth all around 4H mount or small adult trail mare.  She was given ground skills and lightly started last year and is back in training now and though green going well under saddle.  Used to kids, dogs, chickens, farm machinery, 4 wheelers, etc.  Ponying solo with 4 wheeler through woods and field.  No issues leaving group, good with traffic.  This is going to be an honest little mare with a very solid start and ready for someone to take to the trails or for a 4H family to finish out over the summer.  Video of her 4th Saddle ride, 1st canter.

Pineapple
3 yo grade gypsy cross

They don't come much smarter than this little guy.  Just over 14 hands Pineapple is a 3 yo Gypsy cross gelding with loads of mane and tail with light feathering.  He is very sensible and is a pretty clean slate just staring his ground work.

Luke

Picture

Gorgeous built, solid boned 15.2 hand Draft Cross 13 yo gelding.  Luke is a client horse and available due to special circumstances.  He has been used exclusively as a trail horse, traffic safe, rides out alone.  Located in Stillwater, MN

Maverick

This is a super pretty, well built 15 hand 16 yo grade gelding.  Easy going.  Would make good step up horse, husband horse, extra riding mount.  Treating thrush in central sulcus but flexs clean and hoof tests negative.  Rides and drives.  $5500

Pyrite Dan, AKA Sailor

Sailor is a fantastic OTTB partner. Super easy going, go with the flow. Pretty mover with a dynamic canter. Knows all the Parelli games and is a super fast learner. Very centered. Rides english or western. Is registered and lip tatooed (Pyrite Dan) but did not come with papers. He has very good ground manners and is doing great under saddle with no vices. He has attended numerous clinics with me including riding twice with Linda Parelli in her Master Class.  He will make a fantastic low level dressage horse and shows aptitude for hunt/jumper. Does good zone 5 driving, backs off tail, rides well off seat/leg, LOVES water and is good in all three gates. Started carrot stick riding and doing great, jumps barrels, etc. I have been looking and no holes to be found in this nice young prospect.  $6500.00

Sedona

They don't come much prettier than this.  Big, 15.1 hand 9 yo grade mare.  Was started out and trained by a young girl and has been a family/recreational/trail horse since.  Just started learning some more formal arena skills and she is as smart and trainable as she is easy to look at.  Easy to sit jog, nice trot, smooth lope.
Picture

Susie
13.1 hand mid teen paso fino mare

Super cute, super sweet, 13.1+ hand 13 yo paso mare. Excellent solo trail horse. Rides out willing and quiet, stands on dropped rein, walks home. Nice flat walk on loose rein and incredibly smooth gait. Rides halter and leadrope bareback. Traffic/heavy machinery/trail/dog safe. Has been highlined overnight. Will self load in trailer if you know how to ask. Good with farrier, vet. Easy to catch and gentle enough for my 3 yo to groom. Good in stall or pasture. Sweet, sensitive, kind mare looking for a kind gaited experienced home.

Apollo

Apollo has been initiated as a permanent resident of the farm.

Tucker
13+ hand 18 yo Kentucky Mountain Horse/Welsh Cross gelding

Picture
Tucker is a 13+ hand 18 yo Kentucky Mountain/Welsh cross gelding. Previously used as lesson horse and senior riding mount. Was off for over 4 years but brushing up nicely and ready for a new zip code with someone to continue riding and enjoying him. Tucker is a pretty confident and bold so will need a little more refreshing work to be ready for timid, real beginner without support, or small kids for independent riding, but he is super friendly, kind, in your pocket horse with a pretty trot and super smooth lope who has been confident on trails. Current on vetting and just had his teeth floated and coggins pulled.

Hayden
15+ hand grade 20 yo QH gelding

Hayden: 20 yo QH gelding, 15+ hands and very well made. Former 4H and youth gaming horse. Excellent light one hand neck rein light and responsive, nice gaits. Would excel with experienced rider for playday versatility, cow work, western dressage, or trail. Rides out alone with confidence, super friendly and personable and tries super hard to please.
Picture

Willow Rider
13.2 hand grade pony mare

Cute little well made grade 13.2 hand mare. Was a family trail and playday horse. Wasn't ridden in a couple years when kids stopped riding, was in the same family her whole life. She is a confident left brained mare with cute movement and could make a good hunt or jump pony or step up playday mount to youth with the right support. Currently getting refresher riding and skill brushup. Learning good bit response and learning to move off leg nicely. Trail and traffic safe. A forward trail horse who rides out alone without issue. Great stand and wait and rides out and back at the same speed. Cute gritty little mare with a strong heart, melt you doe-like eyes, and disposition to match who gets better and better with every ride. Great step up youth playday mount or light riders trail/playday mare.
Picture

Sampson

Picture
They do not come a whole lot prettier than this guy.  Sampson is a 14 yo grade red roan sabino paint gelding.  15.1 hands and a very nice conformation with a nice trot and lope that his build would suggest.  Great all round prospect.  Was sitting for a number of years but brushing up really well and ready for someone to enjoy.

Manchester

This guy is like a little go cart.  I by no means think of horses as power sport toys, but every once in a while you have a horse with as much gas as brake, that is light, forward and fun to ride for someone looking to playday around or explore.  Manchester is a 15 yo grade 14.3 hand cherry red gelding. He is friendly and kind.  Smooth will gait with a little work.  He is a forward moving horse without being hot. Can ride alone, good with cars, traffic, bridges, water. Ponies from 4 Wheeler/gator, used to tractors/skid loaders, geese, ducks, chickens, alpaca, etc but not a beginners horse as he is responsive. Has Natural Horsemanship training and starting hind and fore quarter yields, sidepassing and is good with obstacles/confidence building/desensitizing. Rides bareback halter/leadrope or full tack. Possible endurance mount with conditioning. A husky and well built whose weight should be monitored and grass limited.

Mabel

Mabel is a 19 yo 14.3 hand Quarter Morgan cross mare.  He was a family trail riding and 4H mount for 10 years and has been hanging out as well.  Mabel is somewhat forward but manageable for confident intermediate up and a great leadline mare for my little one.  She has seperation anxiety that is managed well with  knowledgeable owners but might be too much for beginners starting out without help.  Unworked she will get heavy on lush pastures so weight/sugar management is important. Very smooth trot and nice neck rein halter and leadrope or bareback.  Her lope is unbalanced so I just w/t with her.

Rio-Max

Rio-Max is a super kind hearted quiet 15 yo gelding.  He is low key and low on the totem pole and will enjoy and do well with a kind hearted and soft handed owner.  He is doing well with confidence building and desensitizing and is well broke if abit rusty yet.  He had sharp points that that have been addressed that lead him to resist moving forward when ridden however he is doing wonderfully now with little work.  Nice, easy to sit jog trot and wonderful one handed neck rein to boot.  This boy doesn't have much history behind him I can confirm, however was said to have been a kids camp horse at a time and his neck rein, knowledge of side passing and pivots as well as his saddle whites say someone has spent a good number of hours in the saddle with him.  Videos coming soon.

Frank, grade paint gelding

www.youtube.com/watch?v=kq9Rl5C-xEU&t=19s Frank, 14.3 hand grade 13 yo gelding. I have not had a horse this quiet and well unflappably well broke in for quite some time.  He stays broke regardless of how long he is off. You can ride him out of the pasture halter/leadrope without issue. No lunging required. No vices, leads, loads, hauls, ties, clips (even ears without a twitch), washes, trims, vets, rides bareback or full tack, takes the bit, goes through water, trail and traffic safe, rides out alone, has been to horse training clinics, ridden by beginners and amateurs, has professional training buttons on him, but is not reactive. Will go as fast as you push him, not a hot horse at all. Would be an excellent leisurely trail mount, extra husband horse, lesson or youth horse. Western Pleasure jog and lope. Not at all spooky. Low on the totem pole none but gets along with anyone that gets along with him. No stud like behavior whatsoever.

14.1 hand 15 yo grade mare.  She is an elegant moving pony mare with a lot of try.  Has history of founder so needs drylot and monitoring.  Could make excellent Dressage/Hunter pony broodmare with her movement and uphill build or youth/leadline mare with experienced support.

Dudley
kids/light riding mount

Picture
6 yo 14.3 hand grade QH gelding. Dudley was a ranch horse and is very well broke, quiet, gentle, honest. This is his first day riding in over a year. He is easy to catch, trim, vet, lead, load, tie. Good with chickens, dogs, goats, sheep, 4 wheelers and traffic safe, neck reins. Ride full tack or bareback halter leadrope. No known vices. He did sustain an injury to his right hock which leaves him sound to walk under saddle and would do best in a small paddock and with light riders. I am hoping to find him a good home with a horse knowledgeable family to take good care of him and who he can help bring up another generation of horse riders. Here is a nice young gelding with no dietary restrictions or needs. Excellent feet. Very well broke & quiet/honest but some limited capacities. Would make great kids/grandkids horse to knowledgeable family w/ many years left to give.

Reese, 13 hand Quarter pony mare

Picture
Reese is a 13 hand quarter pony ex-amish mare.  Previously broke to ride but would benefit from refresher. Would make excellent pasture buddy or could make good lead line horse.

Finn Lea

Cute, Solid black grade gelding.  4 yo.  Was said to be started.  Very smart and innately super confident and curious.  Can be tenative with new people but loves scratches and brushing.  Leads, loads, lunges, tacks, and started on ground driving as well as confidence and Natural Horsemanship desensitizing.

Picture

Maggie, Giant Molly Mule

Picture
Maggie is a 2005 grade sweet, kind, and huge molly mule (16+ hands). Suspect she is ex amish mule and is broke to ride/drive. She is good for farrier, vetting, leads, loads, hauls, ties well. Rides well bareback and had harness hair loss when I got her (driving collar). I have not driven her yet but suspect she is pretty broke there as well. She does have a bit of a clubbed foot on her rear but is sound despite it.

Sage, 13 yo cross mare

Sage is a cute 13.2+ hand grade mare.  She is a cute mover and might make a good hunter jumper prospect.  Project horse I am running short on time with due to my little one.  My loss your gain.   Will make nice little youth/trail mare with additional time.

Sport
     yearling grade  QH/stock gelding

Sport is a cute and playfully well build and clean legged  youngster with a friendly demeanor, good work ethic, and strong learning capacity (LBE with Medium spirit level).  Anyone out there looking for a young one to expose and develop on the ground this year for an incredible riding partner in the future? This guy has a lot to offer, cute mover who can jog and trot.  Good bone without being too heavy.  Very versatile guy who will pay back with dividends what someone can invest into him.

Successfully Placed:  Sport has joined his new family in Northern MN with Kristina Asperheim where he will continue his education and advancement as he grows side by side by her mature gelding.  Sport will someday take over as her primary riding horse.  Congratulations Kristina and family.  You got a nice little horse with a good start and I look forward to watching him grow and shine in your care.

Trouble My Asset
'09 AQHA 15.2 hand gelding

Lesson horse, kids horse, adult confidence builder: Gunner is a super kind, affectionate, and quiet gelding.  Was a cattle ranch horse as a young colt out west and has worked at a dude ranch for trail guests.  Was a family kids/playday gelding and was kid tested mother approved.  Gunner does require shoes and maintenance to be sound but is a great walk/trot confidence type horse.  Will place only in loving and able home that can continue with is maintenance.  Big hearted horse with allot to give and offer.  Excellent pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/trouble+my+asset

Sweet Leah
12 yo 15 hand Draft Cross mare

This is a big pretty mare with a heart of gold. She was kept as a personal horse to use for friends and family who didn't ride often to be able to playday with me on, however she spends most of her time wondering why she doesn't get more attention, which she loves. So she is being offered to a good home who can give her personalized attention, a better workout program, and who wants to enjoy what she has to offer. Leah is broke to ride and has driven. She has natural horsemanship training and would make a great playday levels horse (Parelli) She is a very centered RBI with a low spirit level. She is super easy to catch, no vices, good with farrier and vet. Nice smooth gaits w/t/c. She has been loafing in pasture much of the past 3.5 years. Great feet, never foundered. Video pulled from pasture and ridden. She is a special mare and selling her will be hard, but I know she has a better someone who can love and play with her more then I can. I would love to see this sweet sweet mare find her special someone who can make her their special someone, too.
Successfully placed.  We will miss you Sweet Leah but you will be enjoyed and loved at your new home and life changing career.  This sweet mare has a calling and we are super happy and Thankful for the knowledge and expertise of Shelby, Shelia, and HETRA of Omaha, NE on their purchase of their new Therapeutic Riding mare.

Chance is a nice big OTTB gelding.  He has been trail ridden previously by intermediate and advanced beginner riders and is smart and kind. Sweepy mover who could do well in low level dressage. Dunnit- All round youth/husband horse
14 yo 15.2+ hand APHA Gelding

This kind of horse comes around once in a very long time.  APHA registered, healthy, sound, was lesson horse at age 7 and was a light duty recreational riding horse for beginner adult rider for 5 years after that.  Stood unworked for little over 2 years and rides out better then allot of horses do in regular work.  15.2+ hands high, could make great 4H open show horse or even youth APHA with more conditioning, or the sought after husbands horse with his super easy going nature and size.  Super gentle, easy going, no known vices.  Has cosmetic flaw on right orbital bone over eye.  No vision impairment.  Vet checks welcome. More pics/videos available soon.
Congratulations to Lisa of Stillwater MN on her purchase of Dunnit.  I wish you both the best and look forward to watching you two build a relationship and friendship.

Panache
13 yo reg Arabian gelding

Panache is an incredibly floaty Arabian gelding.  Sired by World Champion.  Very quiet and mild for an Arabian and super kind, moves off leg/seat pressure easily and is always trying to please.  He would make a good Parelli levels horse and is pretty centered, mentally, emotionally, and physically.  Has had some Dressage riding and is starting on trails and training clinics. Great with cars, traffic, leads or follows on trails.  Leaves home and comes back same speed.  Great all around gelding.

Beeker, 16 yo Fjord x Gelding

Beeker is a sweet little light colored buckskin gelding who is part Fjord.  Nice conformation and build, could make great youth or light adult riding horse.  He is approx. 14 hands.  Good walk trot horse.  Will lope, but it takes a deal of effort.  He is quiet and gentle.  Good with Desensitizing and new areas.  Trail rides, road rides alone without issue.  Was used as family riding horse the last year where he also gave given beginner neighbor kids rides.  Kind hearted gelding.  He does have cataracts which gives him vision limits mainly in the Right eye but is quiet, kind, gentle and tries hard to please.  Would make good step up horse for someone wanting a leisurely trail/playday horse/pony and an excellent flashy kind and gentle pony for a cart with more training.

Lightning Bug
  15 hand grade gelding

Lightning Bug is an easy going gelding who would make a good intermediate adult trail riding horse. 14 years old,  he is quiet and good natured with bigger and longer hunter type strides and takes in everything with ease. Kind and willing.  Is in continued refresher riding as he has been off for several years. Previously used as a trail horse.  Rides out alone quietly and comes back nicely.  Good with traffic.  Has had ppl with poor bridling practices bang on his teeth so will need continued work on reteaching him unbridling doesn't hurt.   Pretty gelding who would be good for a family that has horse experience.

Black Jack is a gson of Zippo Pine Bar and a very nice little gelding with allot of potential.  He is a great partner.  Quiet, patient, and willing boy with a smooth, slow, and flat/deep natural lope to him and easy jog trot. Aims to please, but can be sensitive and will do best with an avid rider to help him continue to learn and grow.  Extremely smart and willing.  Would make outstanding Parelli levels horse.

Mistys Little Cloud
             aka Cloud '95 AQHA mare

Cloud is a registered AQHA buckskin mare, 14.1 hands and solid built.  Was raised in Iowa and has had some cow work done with her in her youth.  Previously also used as a trail horse.  Cloud is light and responsive, has a nice jog and seems to enjoy trails.  Quiet on the road and goes out alone.  Had sat for a number of years so getting back into shape.
Congratulations to Hope, of River Falls/Hayward on your beautiful buckskin Lead Trail mare!  Wishing you many great trail seasons on her.

Dodger- Senior rescue gelding

Congratulations Lisa Anderson and her grandkids on their adoption of Dodger.  We wish you many happy years, memories, and that Dodger does a great job in teaching the next generation of horseman to ride and care for horses!
Dodger is a senior gelding rescued from a slaughter kill pen starving this summer.  He has been rehabbed and reconditioned and is ready for a qualified and knowledgeable equine home to share in the rescue effort or teach horse/animal husbandry while getting the gift a quiet and well broke senior gelding can offer with paybacks in lead line and off line lessons for kids just starting out riding.  Dodger adoptable with fee neg. as him getting the best home possible is a priority over recouping expenses.  Dodger will need all general equine requirements, ie quality and ample hay, water, shelter, companionship, and proper turn out as well as senior requirements of complete feed (equine seniors) and most likely continued mash/beat pulp/alfalfa cubes to allow for more intake when off grass in winter (he does great on grass). $$ Neg

Rooster is a fun horse to work with and will make someone really happy.  Could also be a light adult riders trail horse as he is calm and willing and has such easy to sit gaits and is an absolute natural on the trail.  Has been ridden by a number of beginners/intermediate riders on trail rides. Braveheart
      9 yo grade gelding

Braveheart (for his heart on his right shoulder) is a super solid and stocky grade paint gelding. 14.1 hand and most certainly stout enough for both youth and adult riders. He is a confident horse and enjoys being played with. Previously used as a kids play-day gelding. He has been pastured the last year and is currently in refresher riding and doing well. Rides off seat and neck reins well. Rides bareback bridleless. LOVES Equine Soccer. Suspect he would enjoy love level cow work, sorting, penning, etc. Rides out alone confidently on trail and comes home on a loose rein the same speed. Nice big stout quiet and social gelding.

Sadie
23 yo Lesson/youth ex show mare

Sadie is a registered APHA without papers. She was used as a show mare much of her life and has been a kids youth horse camp/lesson horse successfully for two years before camp closing. She is easy to catch, care for and ride. Rides halter leadrope, bridleless, bareback or bit and full tack. Neck reins beautifully. Would make good lesson or youth camp horse again or beginner or step up mare for horse oriented and experienced family looking to get youth involved in horses.... (read more) Would like to place in life long home, so can neg. on price to good fitting home that is willing and able to give her that. She is sound at w/t for youth and light/average adult rider but don't want to place her where she is always taxed. Likes pasture but is good in stall too, no cribbing or weaving. Good teeth. Has good coat of hair but no cushings, good feet, though small as she was a shod show horse, and is mid on the totem pole. Cross ties, leads, loads, washes, grooms, with ease.
Placed: Congratulations and Thank You to Stacy.  We hope you and Riley enjoy her for a long time to come!

Coco was started late due to owner time constants and is broke to ride, unpushed, and produced a gorgeous filly in 2015. Super Dude!
8 yo 13.1 hand pony Gelding

Super Dude is very kind and gentle.  Loves people, is good alone or with others.  Easy to catch, tie, lead, load, tack, etc. and has excellent ground manners, even for little ones.  He seems to adore children.  Has been used briefly for lesson/camp horse and prior to that was an 8 yo's family/trail pony.  Super Dude has a nice little jog and will move out into a nice free trot, very easy to ride and has a very easy canter.  Could easily go English and Western.  Super Dude was unridden and worked with for 2.5 years due to divorce and sale.  He is starting under riding and Natural horsemanship training and will make someone a sensational little all around pony.
Congratulations to Bobbie and Beau, of Wilis WI. I think Super Dude will do awesome for you, Beau!

Rainbow Albright

18 yo loud dun overo with dorsal stripe.  Previously owned by dairy farmer who rode her a handful of time each year checking fence lines after major storms.  Kind mare with allot of ability.  Excellent with vet and farrier.  Neck reins well.  Smooth jog and forward walk.  Will lope w/o incident if required, but would be a very happy walk trot horse.   Excellent Lesson horse potential.

Update: Rainbow helped a neighbor get his seat back before a big trip out west.  She proved herself as a quiet and willing partner with a rusty/greener rider and he said she came off the trailer and looked around as if she was home and has been taking good care of him and his family.  She will be back home with me after September 1 and will be available after one final vet check (Rainbow sustained and injury in November of last year and had time off to assure healing).
Rainbow is currently on lease/foster with the Brande family!  Enjoy and take her good care of her for me Hannah and family.

Jan- Grade 12 yo QH mare

Jan is a big and pretty red dun mare who stands 14.3 hands.  She is a horse that likes to go slow, but is open to suggestions : ). She has a very nice smooth and easy jog and lope. She is a stout mare and easy to work with, tack, lead, load, haul, etc. Neck reins. Jan has previously been a successful 'Sunday' riding horse for an intermediate adult rider and was last a trail horse for teen.  Jan has been on several state and local trails where she was always safe, quiet, and calm.  She is a nice horse that tries hard for her rider. Has been ponied and been ponied off from.  Jan is a mare that stays broke.  She was not ridden or worked with much in the last year and a half due to family circumstances and I rode her off first day home bareback, halter, and lead rope walk, trot, lope, like we didn't miss a beat.  Kind mare who is fun to ride and work with.  Well Built and pretty colored.  Very soft eye. Could make great all round horse.

Will is a kind and super quiet natured gelding. He has been handled and started with all Natural Horsemanship techniques and has a very solid foundation.  Rides bareback halter leadrope or full tack and snaffle.  He yields his fore quarters, yields his hind quarters, crosses over, pivots, started on side passing and half passes.  He will take and hold a soft feel and vertical flexion.  Very good lateral flextion.  Has been trail and arena rode.  Not pushed!  He is a big boy and still growing/maturing.  Has only done flat work at walk and trot.  Will begin the lope/canter soon.  No ill will, buck or rear.  This is a one in a _____ horses.  He been hauled this summer to multiple arenas and has been well exposed without stress or pressure.  He was my  Foundation Horsemanship colt in Buck Brannamans 4 day clinic in September and has also done a 2 day clinic with Julie Goodnight.  Has done a relaxing and stress free 2 hour trail ride halter/leadrope where we lead and followed, crossed bridges, small creek, saw deer and had birds fly nearby, went up and down big hills and crossed several downed trees. -Val, Reg. ApHA '03 gelding Avalon Whatta Dream

Val is a 14.3 + hand red dun gson of Dreamfinder.  He is very people friendly and kind without being pushy or demanding.  Val was used up to 2010 as a trail and overnight camp horse.  I worked with him in 2010 using Natural Horsemanship and placed him in a home that continued that in training, on the ground, and by doing obstacle and trail riding.  Due to owner injury (non-horse related) Val is again looking for a good family type using home.  He is a glorified trail horse with the ability to do more and LOVES pushing the ball (I'll try to get videos soon) and will track and auto correct to push it on his own all around the arena and 'Box' it in the corners or at the wall.  I think he would love playing with cows!

Val has been ridden on many state trails.  He is sound and healthy, honest and trustworthy.  He is forgiving and tries hard to please.  More current pics and videos available as well as many from 2010 as well.

**Update** ApHA papers only go back 2 generations and he unknowingly had/has Impressive in his background on the dams side.   I just pulled a mane sample for genetic testing on him and he did come back one gene HYPP (test results n/h).  He has never shown sign nor symptom.   $2500 Neg. to good fitting home.

-Blaze Sonny Mountain Rose,
2001 APHA mare- listing for a client

"Blaze" is available for a Friend/Client located in Afton, MN. She is a registered APHA Breeding stock Dun mare and boarding situation requires her a quick sale. She is well broke and will ride off your seat and guides well if you know how to ride with them, and will plow rein if you don't. Neck or direct rein. Rides halter leadrope bareback or string on the neck as well as full tack. Cross ties, ties, desensitized. Smooth gaits. Blaze is sound however does have mild heaves so looking for a relatively easy lifestyle home where she will can have a nice pasture in the summer time and clean hay in the winter time.  She will do best in rough board (not stalled).  She is not on any medications. She is currently in a small lot without access to pasture and owner is motivated to sell her to assure her nicer housing and pasture that will not be available to her there. Her previous owners used her for trail and camp riding. She has sat most of the fall/winter. Videos show her with only a handful of riding/refresher sessions. .  Blaze does occasionally shy from a rope, etc. the ground in front of her.  I think this is a simple training issue but will occasionally get weary of something on the ground in front of her. The desensitizing video is her second time with the tarp, and you can see that she is kind and tries hard, so not a difficult horse but for this reason, a timid beginner is likely not her best match without additional brush up riding however a confident beginner with some support or intermediate rider should be fine.  She did sit for a number of years prior to her current owner purchasing her as well so she should only get better with additional use.

SG Power House, '92 APHA gelding

Hank, 22 year old reg. APHA Gelding.  I had the privilege of working/playing with Hank in 2009.  He was sold and became a 14 yo beginner riders first horse.  She is in collage now and I took Hank on again to help him find another home/partner or family to enjoy.  Hank is a good natured boy.  Was a fabulous trail horse for me in '09 and helped the young rider he stayed with have confidence on trails.  He was to have previously done some cow work, but to what extent I don't know.  Was also ridden out west on a several week long hunting tip with previous owners.  He does have a few blemishes that come with some work and age, but is solid built, in excellent weight and health, fresh off a power float, and trim, and sound.  He is easy to catch, stands excellent for tacking, and rides as well bareback halter/leadrope as he does full tack.  Not a deadhead and is a stocky boy, so timid beginners likely not his best match, however intermediate or confident beginner with good help/support should do well with him.

Smokie
    Senior (25+/-) pony gelding

Smokie is a sweet and gentle senior rescue gelding.  He has had a number of inexperienced horse owners in his recent past but shows allot of knowledge and training and it is evident that someone took good care of this little pony at one time. He is broke to ride but I am hoping to find him a low key home with pony rides/lead line occasionally as opposed to regular working that he should be able to retire from. He is sound and walks, trots, lopes free and easy at pasture at will however does have one larger front knee, likely a degree arthritis but has not shown issue, even in the cold. He is good with kids, dogs, cars, traffic, and has been pastured with cattle in the past. Been ridden by my 5 yo nephew. Just had his teeth power floated and has good teeth with none missing. No need for special mash, just good quality feed. Current on farrier work (stood like a champ), 5 way, and worming.

9 yo 14 hand Quarter Pony

Rain is a nice sized and stocky Quarter Pony mare.  Very friendly and social.  Has been trail ridden on state trails by previous owners.  Very confident and curious horse without being overbearing.  Smart mare with a good work ethic.  Good on trails, rides out alone and is trail/traffic safe.  Excellent with vet and farrier.    Extraordinarily fun mare  that looks forward to every lesson.

Videos below: Wisconsins winter has been rough this year.  Rains 4th time out in too long of a time!!  And the snow depts. are very challenging.  Rain is a good hearted mare though that gives you her all.

Fancy Lenas Magic '08 APHA Breeding Stock Buckskin mare

Gentle mare with allot of try.  Was trail ridden extensively by previous owner including many state trails.  Loves people.  Classy solid buckskin mare that could do open shows or continue as a quiet trail partner.  Very nice and easy smooth lope.  Is riding full tack and bareback halter leadrope.  Aveda has had an excellent foundation and is very eager to learn.  She has the mentality of a much more mature horse and unlimited ability.  Neck reins well, is working off leg pressure, yields hind and front quarters and is soft mouthed and sided without being too responsive.

Sold.  Congratulations Holly and Thank You for giving Aveda a great Parelli home.

Breeze- 2013 Percheron/QH Cross

Big classy filly that is forward and confident.  Very big floaty movement.  Will make excellent Dressage Prospect.  Will be tall.  (Will come one year sometime in March) Straight and correct.  Doing general ground work/haltering now.  Price may increase in spring with additional work.  Looking for good home with experience or trainers to help develop a young horse.  I don't want her to fall through the cracks.  Nice filly, nothing wrong with her, just young with a big future for the right person.  3/4 brother to Jake Below.

Jake- 2013
Percheron/QH Cross

Sweetheart of a colt.  Will be Big.  A July 2013 baby but shows allot of structure and height.  (Full 4 months younger then his big sister!)  Has been gelded and is friendly and social.  Hauled excellent for vet, in both slant load step up and 2 horse straight/ramp.  Very smart colt that follows his sister around but you can see individual sparkle in him, just needs a chance to shine.
SOLD- This sweet duo will be staying together and playing with Lisa in a Wonderful Parelli home near Madison, WI.  Thank You Lisa.  I am sure you will love these two and they will love you!
